LightSabre for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

This application does not have an purpose except FUN!! LightSabre makes a humming sound with some cool light effects when you swing your phone. It turns your Nokia 5800 into a kind of toy and brings out the kid in you. Light Sabre uses the built in accelerometer API of Nokia 5800. It is of course a freeware and really funny when you show it to your friends.

You can also change the color, volume and sensitivity levels in the settings. The application will work on S60 5th edition devices like Nokia 5800 and the upcoming Nokia N97 and may also be compatible with 3rd edition feature pack 2 phones as well.

Some points to remember for running this application-
1. IMPORTANT- install to internal memory ( C:/) drive (known defect)
2. For best results turn off auto screen rotation in phone settings (otherwise you’ll get lag in the sound when the screen changes)

UPDATE:
Some users are reporting problems while installing/running it on phones having firmware other than v20. Application seems to work fine on firmware v20. Head on to the application developer’s site here and report the bugs in the comments there.
